St. Louis Blues have traded Nick Bjugstad

The bottom-dwelling St. Louis Blues, who lost again last night after leading by four goals, have traded Nick Bjugstad to the New Jersey Devils ahead of today's NHL trade freeze.
Before the NHL trade freeze today, the St. Louis Blues have made a move with the New JerseyDevils.
Nick Bjugstad, who was playing in his first year in a Blues sweater, has been traded the New Jersey Devils.
Per the latest from NHL analyst Pierre LeBrun, the Blues are getting a conditional fourth round pick in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft, and Thomas Bordeleau.

So far this year, Bjugstad had seven points (6G, 1A) in 35 games. He had signed a two year deal with the Blues over the summer with an AAV (average annual value) of $1,750,000.
As one of the worst teams in the Western Conference, the Blues have several players who have been heavily involved in trade rumours, including captain Brayden Schenn, forward Robert Thomas and defenseman Justin Faulk.
Nick Bjugstad Was Playing In His First Year With The Blues
Bjugstad was taken with the 19th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers, where he would play until he was traded with Jared McCann to the Pittsburgh Penguins for Derick Brassard, Riley Sheahan, a 2nd round pick, and two 4th round picks in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
He's also played for the Minnesota Wild, Edmonton Oilers, Arizona Coyotes, and the Utah Hockey Club.
In 795 career NHL games, Bjugstad has 337 points (163G 174A).
