NHL unveils 32 new Hometown Remix jerseys, and some designs are turning heads

The NHL and Fanatics unveiled Hometown Remix on Monday, giving all 32 teams a special edition jersey built around their own city.

It's the first full 32-team special edition program Fanatics has designed and developed for the league, and the results are bold.

Each sweater celebrates the fans, fabric and local culture of its market, so no two feel alike.

Some lean on history, others on landmarks, and a few just lean into pure personality.

Boston went all brown, a varsity sweater look that nods to the team's first season, with a brick pattern on the hem inspired by the Freedom Trail.

Chicago finally gets its green jersey, tied to 50 years since the Spirit of Chicago motto landed on the home sweater.

Edmonton goes sleek black with warning orange, plus an Oil Country patch on one shoulder and an oil rig worker on the other.

The Islanders brought back the Fisherman, this time with a cleaner, sharper look and wavy sleeve striping that echoes the Atlantic.

Calgary's jersey hits hardest. It celebrates the final year of the Flames in the Saddledome, which has hosted every home game since 1983, and the hem carries both the year the building opened and the year the new arena will open.

Toronto honors 100 years of Maple Leafs history with a remix of the original logo, while the Rangers swap the usual wordmark for NEW YORK in stair step lettering with Lady Liberty over the heart.
