Jaromir Jagr has had one of the greatest hockey careers in history, and as it winds down, he'll give fans a close up look at his final season.
Jaromir Jagr's career has been winding down for quite some time, with the veteran star promising to play on in 2024-25 under one circumstance; if the Kladno Knights, the team in Czechia that he owns makes it back to the top league. They did just that, and now, the veteran superstar has announced that 2024-25 will officially be his final season.
Not only that, but the former No. 5 overall pick in the 1990 NHL Draft has revealed that there will be a documentary crew following every step of the way;
"We have a plan with filmmaker Peter Vetrovsky to film my last season. So I will try to physically prepare for it as best as possible.
I keep saying I'd like to prepare, and then I don't prepare.
But I would really like to prepare professionally for my last season."
At 52-years of age, Jagr has tallied 18 points over 41 games in the past two years, so while he's still able to compete, time is up on a stellar career, with the documentary to give fans an incredible insight to what life is like for Jagr as he steps away from the game.
