The Florida Panthers, who are in serious danger of missing the playoffs after three straight Stanley Cup Final runs with two Cup wins, have put two players on the NHL waiver wire, including a former first round pick.

The two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers are in serious danger of not making it back to the playoffs this year, as they simply had too many injuries to major players to overcome, including Matthew Tkachuk and Aleksander Barkov.
They could actually decide to sell at the deadline, and one name that has been thrown out as a potential candidate to be moved is goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, who is a pending UFA and playing in the last year of his deal.
In the meantime, the Panthers have placed two players on the NHL waiver wire today. Defenseman Tobias Bjornfot and goaltender Louis Domingue are on waivers and have 24 hours to clear, be claimed, or otherwise be sent to the American Hockey League affiliate Charlotte Checkers.
Domingue was just signed by the Panthers to a one year, two way contract.

Domingue, who has been a journeyman throughout his career, has played for multiple teams, including the Arizona Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning, New Jersey Devils, Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers.
This year, he played with Novosibirsk Sibir in the KHL and went 0-9-2 with a .892 SV%.
Bjornfot was taken with 22nd overall pick by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft, and would later be waived and claimed by the Vegas Golden Knights.
Not long after being waived by the Golden Knights, he was claimed by the Panthers, and later signed a one year, two way extension.
In 145 career NHL games, Bjornfot has 18 points (3G, 15A).
