Insider Reveals When The Coyotes Will Announce Relocation

The insider in question is Andy Strickland who is the St. Louis Blues rinkside reporter. He also went to college in the Arizona area giving him an inside look at the scenario. According to Strickland the future of the Coyotes will be confirmed shortly after the Super Bowl.

Expect the #NHL to make an announcement related to the Arizona Coyotes situation sometime soon after the Super Bowl. The league has been pressuring the team for answers on a daily basis for some time. The league buying the team from the #Yotes current owners is in play.

The current ownership group seems to not be able to secure a new arena to keep the Coyotes in Arizona. If this progresses to the league taking over it makes relocation much more likely.
