Today's Outdoor Game Between the Rangers and the Islanders Gets Delayed Because of the Weather
In an outdoor game, the weather must always be followed closely to ensure the ice is in good condition.
Today, it's sunny in New Jersey. The ice down at the MetLife Stadium isn't in a good condition enough for the game to start at 3 PM, the scheduled time.
Instead, according to the reporter Larry Brooks, the game will be delayed until 3:45 PM at best.
An official update from the NHL is expected soon and we'll keep you in the loop.
