Wife of Kraken Forward Sends Warning to Fans Making Explicit Remarks About Her Husband
Seattle Kraken forward Alex Wennberg has been a staple for the recent trend of posting hockey players on "BookTok", the side of TikTok where authors discuss their books. In his case, fantasy authors writing about hockey post videos of Wennberg as if he is the main character in the novel.
Wennberg's Wife has had Enough
in an Instagram post by Felicia Wennberg, she called out fans and "BookTokers" for taking these videos and comments too far.
So I've joked before and called my husband booktoks w*nkb*nk and honestly did not mind. I always thought Alex was the most beautiful person in the world and that it just seems the world finally caught up to it. The reason I struggled to navigate this is while I'm all for female empowerment and especially around sex there has been videos and comments made that has crossed the line of what it means to fancy someone and when it actually sounds pretty predatory and exploiting.
Innapropriate Videos
Felicia Wennberg calls out fans for taking inappropriate videos of her husband stretching during warmups and making comments on videos she considers sexual harassment. She likened the comments to catcalling or women being filmed in involuntarily exposed situations.
Felicia Wennberg ended the post by saying she has no hate for the Booktok community and just wants her husband to be respected.
