In what is always an exciting game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Edmonton Oilers, the face of the old NHL Sidney Crosby vs the face of the new NHL Connor McDavid, last night definitely did not disappoint.
The Penguins absolutely dominated the Oilers in the first period, and took an early 3-1 lead in the second period, but Penguins defenceman Jeff Petry rode Connor McDavid into the net post, who stayed down injured, and it was all Oilers after that.
While McDavid did end up returning to the game, he didn't register a single point in the 5 unanswered goals the Oilers went on to score.
After the game, this Pittsburgh Penguins fan decided he no longer wanted to cheer for the Pens and tossed his jersey onto the ice.
Draisaitl obviously didn't want him as an Oilers fan so he tossed it right back at him!
