The soon-to-be 45 year old, 6'09 future Hall of Famer is playing in his 24th NHL season and this is most likely one he is hoping to forget.

After a spectacular career with the Bruins, he had a brief stop in Washington and now a member of the New York Islanders, the season hasn't went quite the way he wanted it to. A team that was back-to-back conference finalists, have had absolutely nothing go their way this season. From injuries to COVID, this team could not catch a break.
With the trade deadline looming and the NY Islanders no where near a playoff spot, the team might be looking to move Big Z to a contender, and it sounds like 3 teams are definitely interested in his services.

A league source told NYI Hockey Now that following Zdeno Chara's record-breaking night on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings, the New York Islanders will explore the NHL trade market to move Chara to a Stanley Cup contender.
But the source indicated the Islanders and GM Lou Lamoriello are waiting for Chara to break the record before moving him.
Could Chara end up back in Boston? What about with the Pittsburgh Penguins? Would Toronto take a flyer?

How do you think Chara would look in a Leafs or Penguins uniform? We already know what he looks like in a Bruins!
