When the Montreal Canadiens shocked the world last week selecting Juraj Slafkovsky over Shane Wright with the first overall pick. Yesterday Slafkovsky made his first appearance in a Habs sweater and well, it was not pretty.

After this video was released, many experts were already calling him a flop. But Slafkovsky has a good attitude and spoke well about his game.

NHL teams should take notes and hire all the "experts" who proclaim Juraj Slafkovsky a flop, after watching a 40-second video clip of him at the start of a development camp... As Carey Price says: "Relax. Relax; we have plenty of time.

Juraj Slafkovsky wanted to make a good first impression, but says that in his opinion, day one of the development camp didn't go too well for him, but he's sure his performance will improve for the remaining days of the camp.

Juraj Slafkovsky, on what didn't go well for him today: 'It was a tougher start; I'm still a bit tired from what happened (in the last few days) and I got all the new equipment so it was tough but that's no excuse - I have to be better, whatever.
