The Hurricanes are current sitting top of the Metropolitan division this season, with 4 points on the New York Rangers. We are a week away from the playoffs starting and the Carolina Hurricanes who are supposed to be cup contenders are missing both of their goalies due to injury.
Today, backup goaltender Antti Raanta left the game with an injury
After the game, head coach Rod Brind'Amour was asked about his current goalie situation, which he gave a hilarious response:
What are you going to do, cry over it?" asked the veteran head coach.
If the Hurricanes are forced to go with their 3rd string goalie to start the playoffs, do they stand a chance?
