Seth Jones very unhappy with the Chicago Blackhawks

This past offseason it looked like the Chicago Blackhawks did everything right. They improved for defence with trading for all-star, Norris calibre defenceman Seth Jones, they acquired recent vezina winning goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, their 3 time stanley cup winning, gold medal winning future hall of fame center Jonathan Toews was returning, and young players like Dylan Strome & Alex Debrincat would be another year developed. This was definitely going to be the year the Hawks became a contender again right? Wrong.
This team has had a horrible year on and off the ice. From losing games to the Kyle Beach dilemma, it's been a dramatic year in Chicago.
When Kyle Davidson took over as official GM mid-way through the season, he made it clear that the team was going to enter a full rebuild. This did not sit well with leaders Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. But one we hardly heard about was 27 year old Seth Jones who had just signed an eight-year $9.5 million per year contract.
Jones is in his prime right now and wants to win right now. If the Blackhawks are entering a full rebuild, it could be years before they are sniffing the playoffs again and as you can see after the last game, he is already unhappy playing with a losing team.
If Kane and Toews are next out the door, how long do you think Jones will want to stay with the Blackhawks being already in his late 20's.
