REPORT: Vancouver Canucks Bruce Boudreau about to be fired?

Whenever a team goes through a tough time, the first instinct is always to fire the coach.

When Bruce Boudreau joined the Vancouver Canucks last season, he joined a team that was doing very poorly and helped them finish the season by going 32-15-10, a .649 win percentage, which would have been a 106 point pace over a full year.

This year, the team is currently dead last in the National Hockey League with an 0-5-2 record, which makes it even worse when you learn that in the majority of these games, the Canucks actually held a 2+ goal lead at some point.

There have been rumours of issues in the locker room and even two teammates had to be separated at the end of a period the other night:

Now according to NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman on his 32 thoughts podcast, he thinks that the Canucks are actively looking for a new coach.

This post was made yesterday, which means it was before yet another loss last night, so if they were already looking yesterday, after another loss last night, that search just started speeding up.

The Canucks have a lot of young skilled players and didn't think they needed to enter a rebuild, but if the issues they are facing don't get solved soon, that might be the only option.
