The Montreal Canadiens have a promising young core. With several top draft picks in the last 5 years, the team is looking to make a playoff push in 2023-24. Today, however, two of their biggest stars are in the news for getting into trouble.
Caufield And Suzuki Enjoy A Round of Golf
According to an article published by Max Truman both
Cole Caufield and
Nick Suzuki could be in some big trouble after breaking some laws. The pair were out golfing at the prestigious Memphrémagog Golf Club this past weekend.
The young superstars were out on the course with two other individuals and decided to share a snapshot of the course to their Instagram stories.
The only problem with this is that sharing photos of this course is forbidden in the rules.
Montreal Stars Face Backlash
This has left both Caufield and Suzuki in some hot water. According to reports of the club rules not only are pictures not allowed but cellphones while playing are also prohibited.
The 2 photos shared on Instagram by Cole and Nick are among the very rare images taken and published at the Memphrémagog Golf Club in the last 20 years!
Believe me, it did not please many people so much so that the stories disappeared quite quickly.
- Max Truman
According to the report by Truman, the lack of respect by Caufield and Suzuki for the club and its rules has created quite a controversy throughout the club. This club is so exclusive that it only has 20 members and each pays $200,000 to be a member there. This story will be interesting to watch and see if the pair of stars have any repercussions for breaking the rules.
