There are leagues across the world that are more known for the physical play of the games rather than the actual hockey in the games. This is apparently one of those leagues as this league in Russia just had the second dirty play like this is just the last few days.
Yesterday in a game during the the second period, you will see in the video, a player is unhappy that no penalty was called on a play where he was tripped and things started to get a little heated.
The two players come together after tripping one another and begin to exchange some pushing, and then the player on the blue team decides to take a baseball swing at his opponent catching him right in the neck.
The player who received the slash must have been doing some meditation before the game or something because he just stands there, takes it, and doesn't react at all.
