Last night the Philadelphia Flyers were in Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs, which eventually ended in a 5-2 win for the Leafs.
Things got a little hairy in the final minutes as Auston Matthews decided to pick a fight with Travis Konecny which started a little brawl, as Matthews stood and watched.
But after the game, John Tortorella spoke with the media about the game, and he was not happy with some of his players and the effort they put forward during the game.
I'm not going to name names. I'm really, really happy about how some guys, their effort tonight, how they handled certain situations. But on the other side, there's some situations that absolutely disgust me. Those are the things we have to work through. When you're building a team, you're not only looking to build and grow your players. You're also looking for players that you simply don't think are going to be part of it. That separates itself as you go through all this process. So that's part of our job.
