Last night we saw the Toronto Maple Leafs and Philadelphia Flyers play a game in Toronto where the Leafs eventually won 5-2.
Late in the game, Auston Matthews gives Konecny a cross check, which leads to Konecny wanting to drop the gloves. When that happens, Matthews watches all his teammates come to his defence, and stands there with his arms looking like a wet noodle.
After the initial brawl ends, Konecny goes up to Matthews and Matthews again gives him a shove and AGAIN watches as his teammates stick up for him.
This is just flat our embarrassing.
