REPORT: Blues Craig Berube CALLS OUT Jordan Binnington after his stupid play
It's always been said that you need to be insane to want to be a goalie. They have to think the game differently, and there is a lot more pressure on them to preform. A coach once said ''a goalie is 80% of your team, unless he's bad, then he is 100% of your team.'' So there is pressure to be the best you can be every night or else your team seriously suffers.
With this comes a lot of unhinged behavior, but the Blues Jordan Binnington has taken that to a whole new level this season.
Since entering the league, Binnington has started to develop a reputation that is starting to rival that of Brad Marchand.
Earlier this week he tried to body check Jordan Staal, who ended up just demolishing him. Then last night playing against the Penguins, he decided to hit Jason Zucker with his glove while he was going behind the net, which sent him to the ice in pain.

Zucker would then get his revenge shortly after as he scored a goal which got Binnington pulled from the game. On his way to the bench, Binnington took a misconduct penalty for 'inciting' at the Penguins bench.

St. Louis Blues head coach Craig Berube is getting tired of Binnington's antics and called him out during the post game interview:
It's got to stop. It doesn't help anything. Just play goal. Stop the puck.
