We are all aware of all the events that have been revealed lately that have been covered up by Hockey Canada and yesterday Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was asked about what he thought of the scandals that are still ongoing, which he replied:
«It's fairly clear that both the government and Canadians in general have lost confidence in the leadership at Hockey Canada. And the longer it takes for Hockey Canada to realize that, the more difficulties they're going to face.»
The organization insists that they should continue to retain the currently leadership group of Hockey Canada, which includes the President Scott Smith.
Two of the scandals that we know about right now are the 2018 World Junior Gold Medal winning team, and the 2003 team.
After all this information came out, I think we can agree that there needs to be something done within Hockey Canada's group for it to ever recover from this and that definitely means a new leadership group.
While many have their own problems with Justin Trudeau, I think we can all agree with him on this stance.
