It's been quiet lately in the hockey world, when it comes to trades. We have not seen much happen since before the draft, but the Wild and Ducks made some noise just now and made a trade.
The Minnesota Wild signed a former first round pick in Sam Steel yesterday and now looks like they were trying to free up a little cap space.
The Minnesota Wild trade Dmitry Kulikov to the Anaheim Ducks for future considerations.
Kulikov is in the second year of a deal that carries a $2,250,000 cap hit.
Kulikov is a former 14th overall pick by the Florida Panthers back in 2009.
