It seems like everyday Evander Kane is in the news for one reason or another, but today it seems like the San Jose Barracuda may have finally seen a victory in his battle with his estranged wife.

Today Evander Kane was in ckuet eith his estranged wife Anna and according to A.J. Perez, Sharks Insider, Kane was granted custodial parental-ship of his daughter, while his ex will undergo psychological evaluation. This grants Kane primary custody while his ex is reviewed to see if she's mentally fit to parent.

Over the summer Kane's ex Anna made a handful of serious accusations against the winger. None of these which could be proven. Kane also denies all the claims made by Anna and during the investigation process investigators had a very difficult time getting Anna to participate. There are a lot of signs that point to a situation with an angry ex, but we will wait until the facts are all available.

Today though Kane also shared some interesting information about his status with the San Jose Barracuda as he will apparently not be traveling with the team to any games in Canada.

Kane also shared the following:

According to Evander he's "fully vaccinated" and that is not the reason why he's unable to travel.

It will be interesting to see how this situation shakes out as it clearly seems like Kane has played his last game for the Sharks and it's highly unlikely any team trading for Kane would want to be trading for a player unable to travel to play in a portion of their games.
