This afternoon, the Minnesota Wild hosted the Washington Capitals in what finished as a 5-3 win for the hometown Wild.
During the third period, the Washington Capitals were breaking out of their zone and as Evgeny Kuznetsov was receiving a pass, Wild's defenceman Matt Dumba caught him on the blind side and delivered a check that looked to be directly to his head.
After the hit, Kuznetsov's teammate TJ Oshie immediately dropped the gloves with Dumba. Oshie was the only one to receive a penalty from this.
