While most people are keeping an eye on Boston and Vegas' hot start to the 2023-24 season, the New York Rangers are quietly just as hot with an 8-2-0 record through 10 games, but now, they've suffered a big loss.
During the Rangers 2-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes, star defenseman
Adam Fox went down with an injury, and now, fans are sweating as they await an update on his condition.
Now, we have an unconfirmed report that Fox will miss up to a month of action, a brutal loss to a Rangers team that have been humming with his stellar play leading the way.
Hearing #Fox is out 3-4 weeks. Trying to confirm and get more info.
In those 10 games, Fox has been fantastic with 3 goals and 11 points, but thankfully for the Rangers, they play only 11 games in the next month with a six day rest period, meaning surviving without him will be made a little easier.
With Fox in the lineup, this team has the talent to matchup against anyone in the NHL, so this news should allow Rangers fans to breathe a sigh of relief, as the star defenseman won't be out long-term, but is expected to miss a period of time.
UPDATE: The Rangers placed Fox on the LTIR.
