Justin Holl Takes a Massive Shot at Toronto Fans and Media After Signing in Detroit
Justin Holl did not hold back against the Toronto faithful in one of his first interviews as a Detroit Red Wing.
Holl Fires Shots At Toronto
It did not take long for Justin Holl to speak out against Toronto after signing with Detroit.
Yesterday, he signed a 3 year $3.4 million AAV deal with the Red Wings officially ending his time with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Throughout his time in Toronto, he was constantly scrutinized for his bad plays. Here are an example just from this year.
While Holl plays well 99% of the time, he would make a terrible decision or play and would be criticized like there is no tomorrow by the Leafs media and fans.
Now that Holl is gone, he is already spoken out on the media and fans.
It is clear that he heard all of the noise and was not a fan which could have been part of why he left Toronto after playing there for all 285 games of his NHL career.
With Detroit, he will look to play in a top four role and help mentor young players such as
Simon Edvinsson and Axel Sandin-Pellikka. He will also help develop their defensive game given how it is one of his best traits when he is playing well.
