Justin Holl Makes a Bold Promise to Red Wings Fans
Justin Holl has spoken on what he believes he brings to the Red Wings and fans are hoping he can keep his promise.
Justin Holl has repeatedly been underrated by fans due to his style of game. While he is not the perfect player, he is quite strong defensively aside from the glaring errors he would make every couple of games.
Holl has played 285 career games, all with the Maple Leafs, and has established himself as a valuable NHLer. While he is valuable, many do not see him as more than an okay 2nd pairing defenseman.
He has now spoken out and has shown he is trying to switch that narrative up.
In a recent interview with the Detroit Free Press, Holl spoke on what he believes he can bring to the Red Wings.
"I can bring a two-way game and bring a steady presence on the back end and help us win games." - Justin Holl
While any player wants to help a team win games, it seems like Holl was more in the losing games business when he was a Leaf.
It will now be up to Holl to back his words up and prove he is truly more than what the common perception is.
