John Tortorella is known to many people as a hard ass, an asshole and so many other negative thing when he's behind the bench. One thing Tortorella isn't though is a terrible person.
Torts shared his thoughts on ESPN and said the following:
"If this was your 20-year old kid, would your decision have been different?"
Torts went on to say that it's crazy to him that one man couldn't stand up and say you know what, this is wrong.
This truly puts this into perspective in a lot of ways. If one person spoke up the outcome here could have been so much different and many lives wouldn't have been altered because of the inaction.
Hockey needs more people like John Tortorella and far less like Joel Quenneville.
