The Vegas Golden Knights have inked defenseman Zach Whitecloud to a 6 year extension with a cap hit of 2.75 million dollars per year.
Whitecloud played in 51 games last season and had 2 goals and 12 points.
Although cost certainty is important to Vegas, this does seem like a rather long-term bet on someone who hasn't eclipsed 75 career games.
