The final game worn jersey for NHL Legend Wayne Gretzky sold for an insane amount of money at an auction Sunday night.
The jersey sold for a whopping $715,120 USD, making it the third most expensive hockey jersey of all-time.
21 bids were made during the auction, with $50,000 being the starting number.
Wayne Gretzky's final game was held April 19th 1999, in Madison Square Garden where Gretzky's New York Rangers fell to the Pittsburgh Penguins in Overtime.
Gretzky tallied his final point that night, an assist on Brian Leetch's power-play goal.
The jersey itself resided at the Madison Square Garden "Defining Moments" Museum from 2016-2019, and this is the first time it has been help up for auction.
