Incase you have forgotten, back in November, in a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Evander Kane had his wrist sliced open by a skate from Pat Maroon and required immediate medical surgery.
Kane has not played since and we often received updates that he still did not have feeling in that hand.
Yesterday though, we received the good news that even thought Kane is still considered week-to-week, he has rejoined the Edmonton Oilers for practices.
He's still "week-to-week" according to Jay Woodcroft but a good surprise to see Evander Kane on the ice with his teammates on Tuesday.
Even though he is still far away from returning, this is the first step in making his comeback and helping the Edmonton Oilers make the playoffs.
