Flyers conduct secret interview behind the NHL's back
Round one of the NHL Entry Draft was last night and shortly after the round ended news came out that the Flyers had done something sneaky.
Flyers Secret Meetings
Daniele Briere in his first Draft as the General Manager of the Philadelphia Flyers wants to make it a good one.
To ensure that the Flyers got their guy Briere held secret meetings with one of the most polarizing players in this years draft Matvei Michkov.
Michkov was labelled as a top 3 pick all year but partially due to him being Russian he fell in the rankings.
Michkov's skill set
Michkov and Bedard have had all the attention on this years draft as they look to be game changers for any team that landed them.
The Russian-born forward lit up every league he played in this year scoring 20 points in 27 KHL games this past season.
In 12 KHL games he had 10 goals and 14 points.
