The Vancouver Canucks have fired Travis Green and replaced by Bruce Boudreau.
According to Satiar Shah the hiring of Brice Boudreau was not completed by Jim Benning and the management team.
This makes it pretty clear for anyone to see that Jim Benning is the next man out the door. You don't make a decision like this without including your management group if your long-term plans include that group.
The real question becomes is hiring a new coach before you have replaced your General Manager the right decision? Would you not want to include your new management group in the hiring of the new coach?
New reports are Jim Benning is also out.
