Now one of their player's mother has seemingly felt the need to delete her social media accounts thanks to a shameless rumor surrounding her.
Melanie Bedard Deletes Instagram After Perry Rumors Break Out
In case you have not heard, Corey Perry's contract with the Blackhawks was terminated today after he reportedly broke a team policy at a team event. Frank Serravalli reported the news.
Corey Perry (CHI) has cleared waivers and his contract will now be terminated "effective immediately," according to the #Blackhawks.
The news came days after disgusting rumors started circulating online regarding Corey Perry and Connor Bedard's mother. Perry had been away from the team for some time before anyone outside the organization knew what was going on. We will not repeat the rumors hear.
One can imagine the kind of things people have been saying to Melanie online since the rumors began. As we all know, the internet is a mean place filled with people who take advantage of their anonymity to treat others poorly. Regardless, Mrs. Bedard seems to have deleted her Instagram account following this nonsense.
We still only have a faint idea of what Perry did to get his contract terminated but now it is sounding like he may potentially sue the team to reinstate his contract.
