During the Blackhawks-Lightning game, a scary hit from Mikhail Sergachev sent Blackhawks player Philipp Kurashev head-first into the boards. The dangerous and borderline dirty hit drew a crowd from the Blackhawks.
Leading the charge for the Blackhawks was rookie phenom Connor Bedard, showing that he is more than just an offensive player. Bedard was the first to confront Sergachev before the larger crowd drew in, which was pretty gutsy for the 18-year-old.
Bedard is living up to all of the hype he received leading up to the season. He has 9 goals and 4 assists for 13 points in 14 games. He has broken several records for the youngest player to hit certain scoring milestones. He has even earned high praise from the Great One, Wayne Gretzky.
