Following his acquisition by the Columbus Blue Jackets from the Los Angeles Kings, Jonathan Quick expressed dissatisfaction with his new team. As he approached what may be his last NHL season, Quick had hoped to compete for a Stanley Cup, which he believed was unlikely in Columbus.
However, Quick's time in Columbus was brief, as he refused to report to the team. Recent reports indicate that a deal between the Blue Jackets and the Vegas Golden Knights, which had long been rumored, has been finalized, and Quick is expected to return to the West.
