Capitals make rule change that is perceived as anti-Ukrainian and pro-Russian

Alex Ovechkin has been under fire since the Russian Invasion began. As a pro-Putin supporter many in the media feel he should speak out against what is currently occuring. Despite a statement against war, Ovechkin has remained under fire.
Now it appears his organization is trying to take some heat off of him by announcing a new policy barring Ukrainian flags and signs from the arena.
While the policy also mentions Russian Flags, it appeared according to those at the game that only Ukrainian flags were being confiscated. One fan even went as far as to provide video images of Russian Flags in the arena.
While many franchises are showing their support for what is going on in the Ukraine it appears the Capitals have decided to go another direction.
