Calgary Flames forward TAUNTS Blake Wheeler for losing his Captaincy

The Winnipeg Jets for a few years now have thought they've had a team that should be able to compete for a Stanley Cup. Last year, despite improving their defence they missed the playoffs.

Despite some of their best players setting career highs, missing the playoffs was not something that was acceptable for the Jets organization and some changes were made. It started with firing their head coach and bringing in former Dallas Stars head coach Rick Bowness.

Then just a few weeks ago, the team announced that they were stripping Blake Wheeler of his captaincy.

It's been rumoured for years now, that there has been poor locker room treatment of players by the leaders of the team. One of the biggest was apparently the way Wheeler and others treated Patrik Laine.

Last night the Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets played and Flames defenceman Rasmus Andersson took the first shot at Wheeler for being stripped:

While it's not seen in this video, apparently after the scrum Andersson was spotted motioning at Wheeler's chest and making a shape of the ''C''
