CM Punk Pisses Off New York Islanders Fans With the Biggest Troll Move
We all know the history between the New York Islanders and former Islanders Captain John Tavares. After being drafted first overall by the Islanders in 2009 and playing 9 years on the Island, most of it as captain, Tavares would leave the Islanders high and dry and join the Toronto Maple leafs.
Tavares went to his childhood favourite team and a team he always dreamed of playing for, causing Islanders fans and former teammates to lose respect for Tavares. Islanders fans believed he was staying or if he expressed he wanted to leave they could have dealt him at the trade deadline before losing him for nothing.
Since leaving, John Tavares has been public enemy number one when the Leafs visit the Islanders. So AEW Star CM Punk who's one of the most recognizable faces in sports decided to troll the fans in attendance of AEW Wrestling last night in UBS Arena by wearing a New York Islanders John Tavares jersey to the wing causing a chorus of boos from the Fans.
