Patrick Kane, where do you even start about Patrick Kane. The guy has been an absolute stud since entering the league back in 2007-08 season. After a stellar season in the OHL putting up 62 goals, 145 points in 58 games, the Blackhawks took Kane 1st overall.
Jumping into action the next season, Kane won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the leagues top rookie, scoring 21 goals, 72 points in 82 games.
Kane currently has 1,141 career points, all with the Hawks, which ranks him 5th all time of American born players. In the recent days he also passed Blackhawks legend Denis Savard for 2nd all time on the Blackhawks in assists with 721. He is currently ranked 3rd all time in Hawks points but can most likely move himself into 2nd by the end of this season.
Kane is on the wrong side of 30 (currently 33) and if the team intends on entering a rebuild, it could be a few years before the team is dominant again, which will take Kane well out of his prime.
