Beautifully touching tribute video from TB Lightning brings Ryan McDonagh to tears (video)

After being drafted by the Montreal Canadiens 12th overall in 2007, McDonagh was traded to the New York Rangers in 2009, where he went on to play 8 seasons, eventually being named Captain.
In 2018, McDonagh was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning and was part of one of the greatest hockey teams of all time.
He went on to play 267 games in a Tampa Bay Lightning uniform, where he played a huge part of 2 Stanley Cups championships and a third run to the finals.
The Lightning make the difficult decision to trade away McDonagh this offseason to free up some cap space to sign some of their younger players, but McDonagh meant a lot to this organization and the fans, and you can tell everything meant a lot to him too.
