BREAKING: Tyler Toffoli Traded to Eastern Conference Team
The New Jersey Devils are acquiring Forward Tyler Toffoli from the Calgary Flames in a deal to send Yegor Sharangovich , according to multiple reports.
Toffoli Traded to Devils for Sharangovich
According to multiple reports, the Flames are trading Toffoli to New Jersey in exchange for F Yegor Sharangovich and a 2023 3rd round Pick (80th).
The move was first reported by PuckReport, and confirmed by the Devils shortly after.
Toffoli, 31, had a career-high 34 Goals and 73 Points in 82 Games for Calgary this season. He has a $4.25M cap hit until next season.
Sharangovich, 25, had 13 Goals and 30 Points in 75 Games for New Jersey. He makes $2M up until the end of the season, with a Qualifying Offer of $2.05M.
The Flames also acquire Pick 80 in this year's draft from New Jersey in the trade.
