The #Canes have placed goaltender Antti Raanta on waivers.
In 14 games this season he has produced a record of 6-5-1 with a 3.61 goals against average (GAA) and an .854 save percentage (SV%).
Today it was announced that he was not claimed.
Raanta has struggled this past season posting a 6-5-1 record, 3.61 GAA, and a .854 sv%. In the previous two seasons with the Hurricanes, Raanta was one of the better goaltenders in the NHL posting a 34-8-7 record and being above a .910 sv% and below a 2.50 GAA both seasons.
