It was just announced what the Boston Bruins and Jeremy Swayman have filed for in arbitration.
The Bruins offering less than half of what Swayman wants is quite alarming but it is also likely a tactic used to ensure they meet in the middle and not closer to Swayman's ask.
Swayman is coming off of a phenomenal season posting a 2.27 GAA and .920 sv% helping the Bruins finish first in the NHL.
A third party will help decide what Swayman is worth and the contract he will be doled but it certainly be between the two parties asks.
