BREAKING: Former First-Rounder Stolen By Western Conference Team
A young former first-round pick has been claimed off of waivers by a Western Conference team looking to make a return to the playoffs.
Foudy Claimed Off Waivers By Nashville
It was just revealed by insider Elliotte Friedman that the Nashville Predators have claimed
Liam Foudy off of waivers from the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Foudy was initially selected by the Blue Jackets with the 18th overall pick five years ago in the 2018 draft.
Foudy has struggled to adapt to the NHL level but he did score 7 goals and 14 points last year in a bottom-six role. If he can get a larger role in Nashville, there is a chance he will be able to reach his untapped potential.
