It's been a very rough season for the the Montreal Canadiens, it's fans and most of all Habs Goaltender Carey Price. After putting this team on his back and leading them to the Stanley cup final, unfortunately losing to Tampa Bay Lightning in 5 games, this year's been a absolute disaster for Carey Price.

It all started with off season surgery to repair Price's knee issues he's had since being run by New York Rangers Chris Kreider during the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals. Price then checked himself into a NHLPA Substance abuse program just one week before the season was to begin. After that Price has had set backs with his knee rehabilitation and hass admitted he's had a hard time getting over the loss to the Lightning in the Stanley cup final.
Price said:
"He's still hadn't got over the fact of coming that close just to lose it all."

Since then Price also had Covid like illness back in February but finally would make his return to the Canadiens in April but unfortunately went 0-4-0 and even worse Price seemed to re-injure his knee during last Saturday night's game vs the Ottawa Senators.
Price would end up going to see his surgeon in New York earlier in the week most figured Price would possibly be done for the year and could even be done for his career. However the news didn't seem to be as bad as it appeared because Carey Price informed the Canadiens head coach Martin St Louis that he wanted to play the Canadiens final game tonight vs the Florida Panthers.
Price is hoping to end the season with a win as they head into rebuilding this off season. This could possibly be Carey Price's last game in Montreal, he will want to go out with a bang if this is indeed the case.
