900-Game NHL veteran Tomas Tatar is reportedly on the radar of Swiss NL team EV Zug in free agency this summer.

The New Jersey Devils are headed to the playoffs this year as they have clinched the 3rd spot in the Metro Division.
That being said, the team could have a hard time going on a deep run with key players including Jack Hughes and Dougie Hamilton out for the rest of the season, playoffs included.
Of course, as long as they aren't eliminated, winning the Stanley Cup will remain the organization's top goal, even in the absence of Hughes and Hamilton.
That being said, Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald will likely already be looking to what he can do to improve his club this summer.
Of course, that means free agent additions, but it could also mean addition by subtraction.
One player who may very well be on the way out is 34-year-old Tomas Tatar.
Tatar is in his 14th year in the NHL, but his age is starting to show as his scoring dries up.
The 900-game veteran has just 7 goals and 15 points through 71 games this season, while averaging just 11 minutes of ice time per game.
At this point in his career, he would certainly get a better opportunity for ice time in another league and it appears as though European teams have taken notice.
Specifically, EV Zug of the Swiss National League is rumored to be interested in him.
According to Pro Hockey Rumors reporter Brian La Rose, EV Zug's general manager Reto Klay has confirmed that Tatar is among 20 to 30 players on the shortlist for import player options.
"EV Zug's manager Reto Klay acknowledged that Tatar is on a shortlist of players the team intends to target this offseason, one that also includes former NHL winger Dominik Kubalik. Zug has seven import players to sign for next season so they'll be casting a wide net to do so; Klay acknowledged that his shortlist currently consists of somewhere between 20 and 30 players."
Tatar has 227 goals and 496 points in 924 career regular season NHL games.
