Two more players including Thatcher Demko have been shelved for the season as the Canucks wrap up their season.

With the Vancouver Canucks being eliminated from the playoffs, it is time to start regrouping for next year.
After all, there are few in the organization that will want to think back on this season as it was full of drama and disappointment.
Sadly, that continues to be the case as the organization is now under fire for how they are treating their contract negotiations with head coach Rick Tocchet.
The last two games of the season go for the team won't really matter except for a possible small change in position for the 2025 draft.
The health and wellbeing of the team's players is far more important than the outcome of the remaining games, and it is clear that the team is making that a top priority with their latest moves.
Unfortunately, Tocchet revealed that defenseman Derek Forbert is out for the rest of the season after he suffered a broken orbital bone after a late punch from Takov Trenin in a fight last night.
That is the kind of injury that would keep any player out of the lineup for an extended period of time, but it is not the only one the team is dealing with right now.
Tocchet also revealed that goaltender Thatcher Demko is being shut down for the season.
The veteran goaltender is not dealing with anything specific, but he has been very limited this season, appearing in just 23 games as he continues to work through a lingering injury that has bothered him since last season.
Demko's health was arguably one of the team's biggest problems this season as they fell from winning the Pacific Division to missing the playoffs altogether.
If he can return 100% healthy for the start of next season, that lone could make a big enough difference for the club to get back into the playoffs.
Hopefully the team can return to form without all the added drama involving JT Miller and Elias Pettersson clouding them.
