22 year old defenseman Bradly Burden tragically passes away in car accident
Bradly Buren was showing immense potential at the ACHA II level, but tragically, tributes have now poured in after his sudden and shock passing.
Unfortunately, the hockey world has become no stranger to tragedy over the past few seasons, especially with big names such as Johnny Gaudreau passing away in shock accidents that nobody saw coming.
Since then, there has been several tragedies at the junior level, and unfortunately, it's continued to effect the hockey world at every single level, with fans continuing to mourn these losses.
Scottish hockey player tragically passes away
Now, the latest tragedy has been announced on social media, as 22-year old Bradly Burden from Scotland passed away in a shock accident, with the tributes pouring in on social media.
Playing with Niagara University at the ACHA II level, Burden, a blue liner tallied 5 points in 17 games with the team, and represented one of the most exciting young players to come out of the UK in quite some time.
Those tributes have come from his teammates as well, with Peyton Abbot having the utmost love and respect for the 22-year old, saying this about what he meant to this team.
He was one of those teammates you need on every team, he was one of those friends you need in every life.
We take this time to send our condolences to Burden's friends, family, teammates, coaches and everyone that was close to the talented, beloved 22-year old, and hope they all get the support they need at this tough time.
