Brady Tkachuk forced to leave game against the Islanders after suffering strange injury

Just before the playoffs begin, Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk has suffered a mysterious injury against the New York Islanders.
The Ottawa Senators still find themselves in a race for the Stanley Cup Playoffs but in a good spot in the first wild card.
However, their luck seems to have changed today as captain Brady Tkachuk has suffered a potentially serious injury this afternoon.
Early in the game Brady Tkachuk faced off with Islanders captain Anders Lee in an intense fight.
Later in the game, Tkachuk was by the Islanders bench and seemed to suffer an upper-body injury as an Islanders player came off the bench.
Tkachuk seemed to lose balance in what was a scary moment for the Senators captain.
He returned to begin the third period but shortly after left the game again this time ending his night.

After taking what has been described as a quick shift to begin the third period, Tkachuk has left the game and now his injury status is unknown.
Brady Tkachuk left the #Sens bench before the end of the second period after this play. He took a quick shift but later left. Something to monitor. Really hope the Tkaptain is okay. Would be a devastating loss.
While the Senators would pull out the win, the potential loss of their captain for future games is a major concern.
Now, all eyes will turn to head coach Travis Green for a potential update on his captain after the game.
