Both Vincent Trocheck and Josh Norris are Suffering From Upper Body Injuries
It was a double blow to both teams, as a key player for each team is now unavailable for the foreseeable future.
Norris went through something similar last year with an oblique injury, but Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff said his latest injury isn't quite the same.
He fell to the ice after taking a faceoff and wasn't able to rise back to his skates quickly, and did not return to the game, something that Ruff said was a negative sign.
On the Rangers side of things, Trocheck didn't return for the 3rd period.
