Insider Proposes Solution for Low Level of Attendance in Winnipeg
Recently, there's been talk about the Winnipeg Jets and the possibility of their relocation. However, an insider has just shared details on how the Jets can address their challenges with low attendance and remain in Winnipeg.
Insider Shares Strategy to Boost Jets' Attendance and Ensure Their Stay in Winnipeg
This season, the Winnipeg Jets are performing exceptionally well, trailing the Dallas Stars by just one point for the top spot in the Central Division, and they even have three games in hand.
Despite their success on the ice, they've been struggling to attract enough fans to their games, sparking discussions about the possibility of relocating the team.
Ted Wyman, writing for The Winnipeg Sun, has shared what the Jets need to do to improve attendance and reinforce their commitment to staying in Winnipeg.
Here's what he said:
"To do that, the city needs the Jets to become a better organization, to come up with more affordable pricing models, to do whatever they can to get people back in the seats and not just embarrass the potential ticket buyers in the national media."
Reducing ticket prices would almost guarantee them to see more fans in the stands.
These days, people must pay 200-300$ just to attend to a game in Canada, which inevitably forces people to stay at home to watch games.
Lets hope that the Jets will be the first team among many to create a plan for games to become more affordable for fans!
